When you grow up in different places, home can be an abstract, virtually intangible concept. Jessica has gone through a long journey to find a place she calls home. Today, she is here to tell her story.
This is a picture of Byward Market painted by someone who used to spend a lot of time here during the pandemic and isolation, but is only experiencing the liveliness of this buzzing neighbourhood for the first time in October 2022.
There is always a place for you somewhere in this world. You just have to find it. Amidst the feeling of lost and loneliness as a first-year international student, I found AIESEC, and my story begins.
